I drive a G90 and it does go through tires , front and back. You cannot rotate tires on these cars as the front is smaller than the rear and the tires are directional and they are labeled, left and right.Bought my 2017 G80 from Carmax Approx 1 year ago, Love it, but recently I noticed road noise and a ride difference. Inspected my tires and found the rear right slick, and worn on center to inside of tire. Left rear similar but not as worn. Replacing tires tomorrow, all 4. My question for the group is, is the right rear the drive tire. or how does the rear wheel drive deliver to the road. The tires are Ironman GEN 2 AS, the fronts have good tread. I will have alignment of all 4 wheels when new tires installed. Has this issue been seen by other G80 owners.
Also the rear sports suspension has a 1.3 degree camber for handling. The inside always wears faster so since the tires are directional the tires must be removed from the rim and moved to the other side so you have the worn side on the outside. I have changed my driving habits to a less agressive mode and have changed to a non directional tire. From Toyo Extenza to Toyo Proxy . Now I can change the wheels and leave them on the rims. I still rotate every 10 K. Works for me.
