  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am planning a road trip Dec 14th to Chicago from Oklahoma. I am taking my daughter to Cancer Treatment Center in Zion. How brutal is the weather up there in December? I will be on Interstate highways all the way until I get north of Chicago. Are they maintianed pretty well when it snows? I am concerned I may get up there and not be able to make it all the way.

Almost impossible to answer..... Generally the interstate are good unless you get a big snow storm. From my experience Chicago has not been good clearing streets during a storm
The biggest problem are the complete idiots who don't know how to drive in snow conditions :=(

I'll say a prayer for your daughter for great results on her treatments

Don't worry too much, you'll be taking an Interstate ~40/44 and 55 north, towards the windy city .....this isn't Siberia, you'll leave ;)
