  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Took the car on a 500 mile trip. through the pa turnpike, well into the ohio turnpike. through hills and lots of curves on the pa turnpike.

the drive around cleveland on the turnpike was a nightmare with the snow sticking on the road. there were disabled cars and accidents, cars driven into ditches left and right. i was glad we were able to make it through the storm.

i got around 27-28 mpg doing around 80 mph avg. reached a top speed in the low 90s. acceleration was no problem. passing cars was no problem. the car (used) came with the cheaper yokohama tires but the ride was very smooth..almost felt like i was on skis.

i am very satisfied with my purchase. plan to keep this car at least to 100k miles. currently at 32

Why not go to 200k miles? That's what I plan to do. I purchased my 2011 in September 2010 and now have over 120k miles on my Genny. I think she mine could do 300k with no major problems.

maybe 200. 100 is based on how i end up wanting a new car after 5 yrs or so. but who knows, if i continue to be pleased with it i won't want to change cars.

Glad you enjoyed the trip!

I've got a 3000 mile trip planned at the end of April here. Driving from the Twin Cities to SoCal and back. I'm definitely looking forward to it (especially warmer weather!)
