Getting familiar with the group...
The Genesis finally gets its spot in the limelight via MTV's Punk'd when Ron Artest gets punk'd while driving one in tonights episode.

Not sure that's the kind of limelight I would want, honestly. Worst-looking Genesis I've seen yet!The Genesis finally gets its spot in the limelight via MTV's Punk'd when Ron Artest gets punk'd while driving one in tonights episode.

He isn't the only sports guy to drive a Genny. I got a private tour a few weeks ago of the Atlanta Braves facility with a
Braves staff member while the team was in LA playing the Angels. In the players parking lot behind a $70k Baja was a nice black Genny. Don't know which player. The cooler part though for me was the private tour of the club house and meeting Hank Aaron. View attachment 1940View attachment 1941View attachment 1942View attachment 1943
That site says it was a gift to Metta World Peace (SERIOUSLY????) from George Lopez. My guess is it was intended as a gag gift, but Mr. World Peace must not have gotten the joke LOLIt's amazing how some people with deep pockets can turn a work of art into a puke mobile with no class whatsoever. By far the ugliest car I have seen in a long time.Personally I would be ashamed to own something like that.
That Caterpillar yellow is horrible on the white, and the headlamp tint and blue (?) wheels.... WTH? But I have to admit I do kinda dig the backed-out roof ala Kia Optima, and the hood vents would be rather cool if they had been left the proper color, esp if functional. Also appears that they added LED DRLs (?) above the fog lamps -also rather cool. I'd buy it for the right price, then put $5k into making it right again. Wonder what they did to "improve" the rear end....
Remember, this is for Ron Artest..the LA Lakers...thats why its yellow & blue.
