Roof Moulding Uneven / Bowed

Wondering if anyone else has roof mouldings that do not sit flush and appear to be bowed. Passenger side has a larger more pronounced raised section compared to the driver side where a longer more gradual portion of the moulding is raised. Imagine one/some of the clips holding them in place are broken or have come loose. Something tells me they are only meant to be used once or are likely to break when being removed. Anybody have experience removing these? Want to know what clips I'll need to buy when I take it off in order to attach it properly.

Most likely they are one time clips as an ear or two may break off upon removal. Have you tried to push down with force to see if it will clip back into place. Or you could try to life up in the center of the bow and look under the molding with a light to locate each clip and then use your hand or fist to reset each clip.

No luck when pushing down on the molding. Have yet to lift up on it and look underneath but may try that here shortly.

Problem solved

Got my roof wrapped over the weekend and had to remove the mouldings in order to do so. There are six clips that are attached to the roof moulding itself, the front five are the same while the last clip is slightly different. Removed them using one of the tools from an interior trim removal kit and required little force. The clips stay with the moulding when removed and snap into a rectangular plastic receiver that appears to be epoxied to the roof.

The reason the passenger side moulding was bowed is the second to last receiver had broken loose from the roof. Didn't have any epoxy on hand but simply super glued it back into place. It now sits flush and follows the roof line and the same can be said for the driver side after being reinstalled.
