  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can someone with some PS skills create a rendering of what a silver or white Gen would look like with a wrapped or otherwise black roof?

Considering it with mine because I like the way the Optimas and Maximas look with black tops, however I am having a hard time envisioning it.

Search "black vinyl roof" there are several threads with pics.

Here is mine. I wrapped with 3M matte black vinyl.

Hmm not sure about the matte. I'm thinking about doing mine in gloss black.

Yeah, I would go with gloss black as well.

Yeah, i already had a matte grill and side pillars so i had to match it up or redo it all. Plus all the cars with it from the factory are gloss, so call mr always has to be different, lol. Honestly i'd love to matte the factory titanium gray but don't have time and money is going toward air ride at this point. I bet doing a matte over the titanium gray would probably look something like bmw's frozen gray paint option.

Ooh yeah that color is amazing.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Is this DARECKIBMW guy creative with the Photoshop or what? Props to you, sir.

Any wheel, any color, you name it.

Now if he could only make that motion shot in Gulf Blue and Orange livery colors, that would be cool. Hmmm.

Working with Genesis OEM colors isn't easy, specially with the one above in rolling shot. It would take a lot of time to change the color to those you would like to see.

Instead, I have found nice car in Red and "applied" those colors...at least you'll know what they look like on our cars :)

I know, it's not perfect..but it's close

Ugh I just threw up in my mouth a little.

I wrapped gloss black on my top , but you will get a lots of scratch couple of years later
if you really want to make a black on top, just paint them.

I'm digging on that blue one. It's similar to the Coupe color a couple years back. Paint the splitter and rocker panels Orange and you have yourself a Gulf Racing special. Porsche and Aston Martin, ear your heart out.

I know.....Steve McQueen is rolling over in his grave.

Living on FL, I'm worried about added heat from a black roof. I think it looks good, but anything that is gonna help turn my car into an oven, I'm avoiding.
