  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone had their Genesis Sedan RSpec on the track yet?

The Mustang Club of Oklahoma has an open track day on the sherrif department's test track. They open it up to anyone (Mustang or not) for $25. Speeds are not limited. My friend is considering running his heavily modified 2003 GTO.

I am considering getting my genny out there just to see how it handles on the track.

Why not?

Just a warning, once your tires get too hot (assuming your brakes don't go 1st) don't keep driving on them. Once they grease out they will wear like crazy.

There are occasionally events at Texas Motor Speedway as well where a club or charity event will rent the inner track for use.

So it is $25 for track time, and $800 for new tires?
