  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is this consistent with what others are seeing? I simply get a message indicating that my request "cannot be processed at this time." I don't believe it's my connection either because when it's failed I've verified that I had a mobile internet connection.

I have not seen one failure. I think this service runs on the Sprint network, so if you don't have a good signal for Sprint, it might have a high rate of failure.

Your phone connects via it's own network to trigger a connection at Hyundai's (BlueLink) server level, the server then finds your car and pushes the signal via cell over Sprint's network, to your car.

I am fairly sure that's the system it uses. Again, I haven't had a single failure, and I use the service a ton.

12 failures in 18 attempts = 33% success.

This is over many weeks parked in different places around the Tampa Bay area in my 5.0 Ultimate. Very disappointing considering this is one of the features that led to my decision to get the Genesis.

Late last fall when using the remote start feature, they had a rough patch and I called and complained. They got their act straight and I'd say it work about 95% of the time for me now. During the "rough patch" (two weeks) I was probably around 30%. I haven't used it much lately except for "Send to Car" directions which has always worked.

Never had a failure.

I have good success. Rarely any issue. I think it depends upon the coverage in the respective market you are in. I mean the Spring cell coverage. I'm in SoCal so we have good coverage.

On the remote start function, I wish it was (or also had) a simple key fob remote start feature. Because no way it will work in some more remote areas.

I've only had this error three or four times since I bought the car (remote start used daily). I live in an area with almost no Sprint coverage (if there's any signal at all it's one bar, lots of static, and usually drops the call within 15 seconds), but my remote start almost always works.

I've actually had two different errors; request cannot be processed at this time and failed to start (I don't remember the exact wording). I thought the cannot be processed message meant that the BlueLink servers were unable to send the request, while the failed to start message meant that the server sent the signal but didn't receive a response from the car. This has only happened a couple of times, so I can't remember the exact wording, and it could just be a case of different wording on the website vs the app.

i have sprint on my phone and I never get very good coverage when i'm in conroe. Maybe that's what is causing this.
