  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Talked to Hyundai Corporate Support and was told that the Data Connection Error on USB cable connections and the completely unreliable and unpredictable Blue Tooth connectivity often only fixable by resisting the entire unit and re-pairing the phone on both 1Phone5 & 6...was a known issue and that there was no Estimated Time of Resolution. Have a Nice Day.

Ive read the other posts here and will try the Genuine Apple USB to 30pin to Genuine Apple 30pin to 8pin Lightning adapter as a last ditch effort to get music and phone reliably in my 2012 Sedan with Touchscreen.

And other ideas? Any lines on new S/W Versions for this car, mine is V_188_2 as shown in the attached images.

Thanks for any help or end around solution!

Funny, I really don't understand your problems. I have a '12 premium model and I connect fine to Bluetooth with my iPhone 6. I also stream Bluetooth audio quite nicely. I don't use any connection cables. If you are having Bluetooth connection problems, suggest you limit your phones to one rather than two pairings in the car. That should simplify things for the system.

Only one phone at a time paired to the system. Getting in and out of the car throughout the day, BT will show "Audio not supported" message every 2nd or 3rd connection and sometimes will not connect at all. Turning off and on BT on iPhone will sometimes correct the issue while other times, deleting the phone and re-pairing is required. Both the head unit and amp have been replaced for a high pitch tone issue and the behavior is identical before and after the swaps. This has been shown to Dealership service techs and they offer the same explanation that Corporate support offers. Happy its working flawlessly for you PMCErnie.

I have been having a similar issue since switching to a Samsung Galaxy S6. The phone will fail to pair anywhere from 1-5 days after pairing. I have to delete the phone and re-pair every time. Samsung and Hyundai cannot seem to provide a solution.
