Santiago Silver g70 2.0T

I just purchased 2020 G70 Santiago Silver 2.0 Turbo, and I expect to have it by August 2nd. I'm a bit concerned buying a car site unseen, because the dealership only had a few cars on hand and none were in Silver. They did provide me with a few pictures which I've attached please note that's not me in the photos. That being said I was told if I don't like it I can order another with no questions asked. Not sure how I feel about this, because it will be very awkward to say on delivery no thanks it's not what I expected. Has anyone bought this color that didn't get the smoked chrome sport edition? I'm worried that the regular chrome is going to give the car an old man look and just look boring. In some of the pictures the car looks dark which I really like, but it seems once light hits the car almost looks white. I will tint the windows 20% back and 35% on the drivers and passengers side, which should help. Looking at it straight on I am not sure and there is no real way to mess with that massive grill it's just to complicated for any type of smoked gunmetal wrap. Anyway, if you bought the Silverado Silver with the regular chrome post some pictures and lets here your feedback on the color.

Just having fun. Ya I really like the silver but I will say the wheels need to be dark to set it off properly - in my opinion. Then again, I haven't seen it with lighter wheels.

I had dark Chrome on my Cadillac ATS and liked it but wondered if it was something that would get old with time.. I'm probably wrong but I do like the silver with chrome.

Looks good to me, but it's your car. If it comes in and you like it, keep it. If not, take them up on their offer and get another color. No big deal. But I'd get what they said in writing.

I have Santiago Silver, but it's a 3.3 Sport - so I have the dark chrome trim.

I love it. The darker chrome contrasts with the silver, it looks awesome. Plus, the silver is really unique. It does look very bright under daylight. I think it stands out among other silver cars, almost has a pearlescent effect to it, which, in my opinion, makes it less dull.

I can post pics if you want, but I know you're more interested in the regular chrome so it won't exactly match what you're looking for.

If you prefer a dark look, maybe check out the Himalayan Gray. I agree with those above that the dark chrome with the SS looks great. I don't think I would hold the same opinion without it

I have to admit, I wish we had that liquid metal pewter looking silver/grey that Lexus has.
Average is nice cause it hides swirls more than other colours.
