  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi

When I am driving and I want to save a location in the nav system, is there a way to just tell the system to "save current location"? My specific need is to set the "work" location point, even though it does not correspond to the exact address of the building (I park in a large parking building on the back street of the business address). How can I get the nav to accept the GPS location I am at as a destination point? I thought there might be a voice command to do so but so far no luck. Also my NAV menu has a selection in the address book that says"map". I thought that might do it as well but no luck.

Any ideas?

Check around page 219 of Navigation manual. It explains how to save location in crosshairs.

THanks. I tried the method in the manual (trying to set work) and it did not work. Cannot figure out why. Works for saving one of four favorite points but not work. Is there a voice command that saves the point without having to speak an address?
