  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can anyone tell me how to disable the seat belt chime?
I really don't want to have to mess with any wiring

Thanks!

In my car (Sedan version) it immediately stops after I hear the click while putting on the seat-belt.;)

Did you try that?

well there's the obvious answer.
how about the not so obvious? lol

That coupe warning chime must be loud, because in my sedan, when I forget to click it, I almost can't hear it. Not loud enough in the sedan.

To paraphrase what QCTLG said, "Click It or Ticket".

Now, I'm going to give you guys a "hint" on just how old I am. Many many years ago, when I had Embassy duty in the Middle East, I ordered a Triumph TR3A from England. Drove it all around the country I was in, but after going over some bumps or "whoop-ti-doos", I got tired of flying out of the seat, so I sent to California for a seat belt kit, and installed it. I've been wearing them ever since. Long before it was a law, and long before manufacturers started to install them.
