  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone had their driver's seat cooling system repaired? Mine seems to be only barely cooling and I'd like to be able to show my dealer what has been done to other Genesis seats to fix the problem. TIA.

Thanx. I guess I phrased my question wrong.

I've read through that thread a couple of times, but there is actually only one person in that thread that has had any progress with Hyundai (pplato) among MANY who've complained about the problem. I'm trying to find out if anyone else has actually had any success with repairs?

I've told my dealer about the problem and would like to provide the tech with a little information from anyone whose seat has been fixed, but so far only see one successful repair.

I agree with you. The one guy seemed to have some fortune with his service department. I asked several times what the service number bulletin for this issue was... never got a response.

A service bulletin number would be very helpful.

As I stated in the other thread, there is no TSB number associated with this issue that I or the dealership is aware of. But here's the case number from Hyundai, 4001438. Hope it helps.

Plapato,

Thank you!
