Seat easy access

Hey Everyone,

I just took delivery of my G70 and am a big fan of the easy access (seat moves backward and forward when you exit/enter the car). I have set the easy access in the convenience settings but the seat doesn’t move at all. Anybody know what might be causing this?

I’m 6’1” and it doesn’t move for me.

My wife is 5’4”...and it moves.

You gotta be pretty dang close for it to move back.

I just set #2 position all the way back and the proper height for easy exit and entry. I dont mind hitting the button and no one else drives the car.

I think you nailed it on the head. I tried moving the seat forward and sure enough the easy access activated. Still was a very short action compared to my G80.

Yup, steering wheel tilts pretty high up for easy access.

There's a reason for that. If someone is already sitting behind you, their toe space or knee room would be extremely reduced if it went back more since the G70 is smaller than the G80 anyway!

Has anyone noticed the steering wheel pull all the way back in too? I’ve only had it happen once, I was like why is my steering wheel moving so much. I didn’t make any changes or adjustments, it just did it one morning when I got in and hasn’t happened since.

I’m tall so i sit far back and I have the steering wheel pretty far toward me so it would actually be really nice if I could replicate this. I’m thinking it was more of a glitch tho

As I said previously it works alot better if you just set the position 2 button and use that instead.

As a follow up to this, I finally test drove one. The steering wheel tilted up, but did not retract, which would have been much more helpful for someone of my size.

My steering wheel doesn't retract, but I don't have it extended very much at all. I'm not even sure if it does retract for easy access, I think it's only the seat.

If you have the seat set far back it does not work. Not sure what distance though but close to the end.

on my 2022 2.0 G70 seat doesn't move back with easy access unless up close to steering wheel....but I found work around. 1) Activate easy access in settings 2) Put in park with engine running 3) Change User on home screen 4) Touch confirm 5) Turn off car and viola seat moves all the way back.

When I re-enter car I simply press my preset 1 position and all is good.
