  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all, just picked up a 2021 g70 3.3T. Is there a way to have the car adjust the seat/mirror/etc position based on which fob the driver is carrying? Looked online and (gasp) looked in the manual and no dice. Thanks in advance!

No, not available on any Genesis or Hyundai model.

You have to use the memory buttons. The vehicle will recall the last memory used at the next restart, but nothing is linked to the fob.

Wow! Thanks for the response. My lowly 2017 Dodge Durango has that as a standard option. It’s not a deal breaker but just can’t figure out how they are missing that in 2021 model.

my 2000 Silverado Z71 had it as well.

it is something that has bothered me since the day I got my G80, seems to be a big miss on Genesis/Hyundai's part. its not hard to program.

something else that irks me is that you can't set the memory settings when the vehicle is out of Park. I get not applying them. but setting them should be available because (at least for me) I find the perfect mirror settings when I am on the road and can actually see the traffic around me.

I'm the only driver so it is not a consideration for me. I have #2 set to seat extend and wheel retracted for easy exit with the car still running. Push 1 again when I get in.

On a long trip though, I sometimes make some adjustments just for a change. I'd like to be able to just push the button to go back to my usual setting and not have to wait for a stop.

FWIW, neither does my Benz. And to make it one step worse, one has to hold down the seat position button in the Benz until the setting adjustments are completed. At least in my Genesis, one only has to tap on the button and away things go. I think the Germans do it for safety's sake.... though I don't think that's a big deal in this case.

Is there anyway to set the Easy Access Seat extended seat distance. Mine hardly moves at all in my No. 1 setting (I'm 6' tall). The seat in a loner car moved much farther back.

they don't move back to avoid crushing of the legs of a rear passenger.

I thought there was 3 option settings of off, normal and extended in the menu settings. In my G80 I just set it where I wanted for exit in the #2 memory. Put it in PARK, hit second memory.

We just picked up our 2022 G70 yesterday and, so far, I can’t get Easy Access to work. I’ve set it up, but it doesn’t seem to care. I’m 6’1” and could use the entry and exit room. :) Any hints? TIA.

How far back is the seat? At 6’1” also mine never worked int eh G80 because the seat was too far back.

The G80 had power steering wheel tilt so that worked, but the seat needs at least 3” from the furthest rearward position to work.

Thanx. I’ll check that.
