  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just a brief comment to say that I found out over the last couple of weeks that the seat warmers DEFINITELY work! I think my buns came out about medium rare after just a few minutes with the driver's side engaged! Our weather in East Tennessee turned dramatically colder during November (the coldest on record for the entire US, I'm told...hmmm....so much for the global warming crowd). But those warmers could be called "cookers" if they are used at full tilt!

Love it!

I am not certain about this but my wife told me the seat warmer on the passenger side is not as warm as the driver side when they were on the same setting. Anyone notice about this?

Jowest,

We noticed the same thing; the warmer on the driver's side is definitely hotter than the passenger's side unit.

i have only sat in the pax seat once, and didn't use it. i will say one thing for this car the seats and the engine warm up quicker than any other car i have had.

The Genesis seat warmers are just OK, about the same as Ford Fusion, Infiniti I35 and G35, Cadillac CTS and others I have felt, but they can't hold a candle (pardon the pun) to the 2006 BMW 330xi - those hit full temp in about 30 seconds, and on high they are truly uncomfortably hot, even through jeans.

On a related note, my friends old (2004?) Infiniti I35 had a heated steering wheel, and it was his favourite feature - even over heated seats. How come noone does this anymore, not even Infiniti?

Anyone know of any aftermarket solutions to heat the steering wheel?

regards,
cmr
