"Security PIN" for 2022 Genesis G80

Does anyone know how to get the security pin for a Genesis? I bought a 2nd keyfob from Sam's Club and they need the car's security pin to program it. I called my local dealership (Genesis of Kennesaw) and they won't give it to me. They referred me to Genesis Consumer Affairs who said they don't have the security pin.
The Genesis dealership wants to charge $800 to get a key through them while Sam's was $340. Genesis wants to charge $250 just to program the key I bought from Sam's. Damn gouging dealership!!! Thanks in advance for any help.

My used G80 came with only 1 fob. I went to the parts counter at my local Hyundai/Genesis dealer and asked them for my PIN. They looked it up on the computer and gave it to me, no problem. Had to show ID and vehicle registration to prove ownership. I read that the PIN was included in the original purchase paperwork, maybe on a tag attached to the fobs or something. It’s your car so they should give you your PIN.

That's exactly what I thought as well. I guess Genesis of Kennesaw is just being a pain in the ass and trying to force me to use their insanely overpriced services. I'll call back and reach out to management there.

I'm in a similar situation as well.! need to get a second key since i lost mine.! is there a way to get the OEM key from online and then have the dealer program it or do i have another choice other than the dealer.?

I purchased a genuine Genesis fob on ebay for $75, got my PIN from the local dealer as described above, then programmed the fob with my Launch X431. The launch is kinda pricey but I’d spend money on it before paying dealer prices for fob/programming. There may be a cheaper computer that will do it.
You could call one of those mobile locksmiths and ask them. Licensed locksmiths may have access to the PINs also. One of them cut my emergency key for me.
