  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Seeking advice: Looking at buying a low miles 2009 v8

I just recently purchased a 2011 genesis 4.6 with 16k miles on it. Dealer asked for $16k. Managed to buy it for a little less than $15k.

I too was thinking if 15k was a lot of money for the car. But, it is a very low mileage. It looks, feels, and drives like new. Though I am sure I could have bought it for even less $$$, I do believe that I got "more" than what I paid for.

Congratulations on your recent purchase. It is a great deal

Wow. That is an awesome deal (steal). Congrat!

IMHO you both did great guys, the 4.6 genesis is a great car, especially with such low miles. Enjoy your new ride and don’t look back, as life is too short as it is 🍻

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Those are the original tires and are terrible. We got them off our car asap when we purchased a new 2011 back in 2010. The car will ride much better with a quality tire. Kumho makes a great grand touring tire that is reasonable in price. Check tirerack.com for ratings etc.

Thanks. Could use your help in identifying which of these (or any other one) may make the most sense. Am looking for something that will be Quiet, Smoother ride than Stock, decent miles warranty, and decent price. Thanks

For the Kumho's, i see TA31 as a "touring" tire:
Kumho TA31 235/50R18XL | TireBuyer

or TA71 as a "touring" tire:
Kumho Solus TA71 235/50R18 | TireBuyer

or a PS31 as a Summer Tire (we are in Bay Area in CA, so Summer may be OK for year around).
Kumho Ecsta PS31 235/50ZR18XL | TireBuyer
