  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

You may have heard that Haundai had a SEMA build car. They had several, two which are 2015 Genesis models. You can look at my album of various SEMA pics, which will grow over the coming days of the show.

Thanks for sharing!

The Genesis pictured is ugly as fawk IMO. The rims looks awful. The grille looks like somebody cut up a chain mail suit of armor to fit. The body kit looks like an afterthought.

If I wanted writing on the side of my car I would park it in North Philadelphia.

I wonder if that is the radar system behind the new grille. I was wondering how aftermarket grilles would handle that. looks like maybe they did here.

I wouldn't expect most current Genesis buyers to like the more aggressive look.

However, if I wanted to pull some buyers from AMG, Jaguar, BMW M, that's the look that's going to attract attention, and maybe make Genesis an acceptable choice.

Right now Genesis seems to be trying to pull from Lexus ES/GS, E class and, although I doubt they get many, from the 5 Series. That's tough going as these buyers don't see themselves in any Hyundai.

Despite the positive reviews, the 2015 Genesis doesn't seem to be attracting much attention from buyers.

I went back by their booth today to stand and watch people's reactions. TONS of people taking pics. But to be fair, Hyundai does have loads of competition from all mfg segments. Each of the major US and foreign car makers has multiple builds that they are showcasing.

More pics going into my Photobucket in a bit.
