  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I would check the tpms sensors. Did the warning lights come on immediately after the new tires were installed? All the rest of the lights are probably incidental.

yeah they did. how do i check them? i have no idea what im doing with this lol.

First confirm the TPMS sensors are installed on the wheels. The tire installer should have done that. If one or more sensors is missing or has a failure code I would go back to the tire shop and have them fix it. Try to reset holding down the tpms button. until the indicator blinks and drive the car for 20 to 30 minutes to reset the system.

Take the car back to the shop. When installing new tires, they are supposed to include a rebuild kit for the sensors. It includes new stems and batteries. Sounds like someone skipped a step.

This is a wheel speed sensor failure. I had the same issue. It was on a one month back order. Just had it installed two weeks ago and everything started working again. It was my left front wheel speed sensor that failed. It caused auto hold, TPMS, ABS, AEB and cruise control to stop working. Part cost $475 but mine was still under warranty. $100 deductible.

Now I have a new issue. I haven’t changed my driving style but now when I take a corner fast the Electronic Traction Control kicks in and apples braking and reduces the speed. You have to let off the gas to get the blinking ETC light to go out so you can regain control again. Pain in the butt.

Does anyone know if the Electronic Traction Control can be adjusted?

My guess would be the wheel speed sensor. Could have been damaged during the wheel changes. $90-120 at World OEM Parts. If it doesn't show obvious damage, you'll need a decent scanner to figure out which one is bad.

Here's hoping it has been programmed correctly. It takes one of those fancy $5000 computers to re-calibrate everything.

Definitely a wheel speed sensor. I've been through 2 of them already.

I know this is a little late...
The auto hold indicator being orange does not mean that auto-hold is on. It is pretty much the opposite. It means that the auto-hold function is disabled and not available. (White would mean that it was enabled, and green would mean that it was active.)
