In case you didnt know, we've been doing this business for about 4 years. Yes, pretty new to the market yet we are proud to say we are the best place to shop products for Korean cars (over 1000 visitors per day visiting our website from all over the world). hello, I am new here..just purchased the black on black w/ tech package today and I am interested in changing the badges to the wings. can I do this myself or should I have someone else. also want to change the caps to the wings also. So i guess thats 3 wings--back, front and sterring wheel and 5 caps... any assistance with pricing would be great. thanks..also is there a work around to watch dvds while moving?

Do not order big expensive items from this guy. This guy is a fraud. He owes hundreds to customers. He ignores emails so he doesn't have to give the money back.

People are having good experience with him for small orders like emblems. But for bigger more expensive items, it's trouble. One guy said that he's thousands in debt.
 
the fact that he is not even defending or standing up for himself is enough to make me not place even the smallest order from this guy. The more I think about it... if he his in another country... then he's basically untouchable anyway... I guess I'll keep looking around
 
I ordered an emblem from him and I never got it. Sent him an email regarding delivery which he ignored.
 
I ordered the steering emblem - waited for 10+ days, sent an email inquiring about what had happened. The KDM guy responded immediately, and arranged for another shipment from US (instead of Korea). I finally got my steering emblem. By the way, the shipment from Korea arrived after 40 days, with a trunk emblem (which I had never ordered). I will mail it back.
Even with the mail fiasco, I found the service & responsiveness to be excellent.
For what its worth.

First off, I apologize for hijacking this thread, but I'm here to lodge a bit of a complaint against this vendor.

First and formost Jay Kim you still owe me (Jediman-Atlantic from Ebay), $26.00 .

Why is that you may ask..let me explain the situation and why I don't recommend this vendor:


1) His Ebay sales for certain products, especially chrome mirror covers and just the trim rings themselves all have tiny pictures and the exact same descriptions.

2) My mistake was that I bought the chrome trim thinking it was the mirror cover set. I did go back and forth on it but settled on sending the additional $26.00 (in addition to the 31.98) to get the full set.

3) Set came in the mail, completely beaten to death (See pictures below). Either customs did this, which could have been avoided by proper paperwork and lets face it, how about some actual PACKAGING??? Otherwise if that's how it was sent, shame on you!

4) Mirror covers did not fit. Did they even send the right ones? Who knows, couldn't get a straight answer. Ended up sending the mirror covers down to their person in PA.

5) Person in PA, nor Jay Kim never acknowledged receiving it (even though I had tracking and included a lenghty letter about the whole thing asking for some feedback letting me know they at least GOT them) without my badgering.

6) Jay Kim's communication is slow and arduous. Eventually I was offered a refund. All Jay Kim had to do is hit the refund button/link in paypal back to me and all would be said and done, and positive feedback would have been listed on ebay. Instead he seems to dick around once he has both your
$ and the returned product.

7) I ended up getting no refund over the course of 4-5 days so I opted to issue greivances through paypal. I only have a refund for the first 31.98 and Jay Kim still owes me the 26.00. I could be a total asshat and charge him the shipping costs for buying a box, and materials to ship the beaten box back to their PA guy, but I won't.

8) Come to find out, there are a LOT of other people I've been in contact with who have all had the same problem, many whom never have gotten their $ back.

Hence here I am to warn buyers about this guy. Not only does he not communicate well, but he seems to run off with your $ unless you get lucky.

Of course, the guy won't email me whatsoever so now I am left dealing with this via paypal and rest assured I am giving him negative feedback on ebay with this story as well.

So Jay Kim, how about being a man and giving me the rest of the 26.00 bucks back huh?

You're not the only one getting screwed. Many others got screwed too. I think the moderators and admin should kick this guy out.
 
I also had a problem with KDM Stuff in the past, but the purchase was for a cat-back exhaust for my Tiburon. The thing was shipped all the way from Korea in nothing but a layer of bubble wrap! Well, of course it not only arrived scratched to hell--but there were numerous considerable dents and dings as well. It took several emails to get a response--and when I did hear back from them, it was something like, "That's how we ship, sorry". What?? ?? No box or anything? Come on.

Needless to say, I figured that I paid for the thing, so I might as well see how it sounds. Well, when I put it on, the thing didn't fit! This was a single cat-back that sticks out at a weird angle in the rear--but the one I received not only projected farther out from the car in the pictures, but it was at a totally different angle as well! This was complete misrepresentation of the product in the pictures shown on their website.

In the end, did I get any satisfaction from them? NO!

I was basically told that I had to suck it up from their horrible packaging, and I also had to get it installed "by a professional". They blamed the fitment issue of their product on me! Completely ridiculous. A cat-back like this can only fit one way! It shouldn't matter whether a professional or complete noob installs it. I've installed numerous cat-backs throughout the years and have never had an issue like this.

In the end, I sold it for a loss and purchased a better system from a more reputable vendor. BUYER BEWARE!
 
Just received the new air bag cover with the wing emblem today and installed it easily myself.

It looks great, and thanks for the awesome product and the best price around :D
 
Airbag cover is a safety critical item!

Airbag cover, has that part been tested? I have seen what wrong airbag cover materials do to a dummy head, not something you want to put right in your face. :eek:Unless a manufacturer has proof( that requires really expensive testing) that the airbag cover/ emblem will not turn into scrapnell when the airbag deploys I highly recommend leaving the original parts in place.
