  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just took a look on the Genesis website and it looks like there isn’t any lease/finance incentives for this month. I put off purchasing last week thinking incentives may get better, as my local dealer hasn’t moved a G70 in months. Any one have any insight?

Sure there are. Monday was a holiday...give it a few business days. Aug incentives actually ended Sep 3 (yesterday as of this post).

Meanwhile...make a post here with specific trim and lease terms...wait for an answer...

Looks like an additional $500 in lease cash over August. Everything else is the same.

Lease cash for September:

2.0 RWD $5,000
2.0 AWD $4,750
2.0 Sport $5,250
3.3 RWD 36mos - $3,750 48mos - $4,250
3.3 AWD 36mos - $4,000 48mos - $4,250
3.3 Des RWD 36mos - $3,750 48mos - $4,500
3.3 Des AWD 36mos - $4,000 48mos - $4,750
3.3 Dyn RWD 36mos - $3,250 48mos - $3,750
3.3 Dyn AWD $4,000

Yep, the posted the same financing incentives that they had previously as far as I can tell.

Thanks everyone! Looks like they adjusted the residuals too, using the calculator on dealers websites.

With incentives like these, is the Circle A pricing still a better bet? Is R-SPec still providing Circle A pricing? My current lease ends in December. Is that the best month to purchase?

Sorry, I'm not really understanding your question, the incentives would be on top of the Circle A pricing. I don't remember seeing that he stopped but could have missed it.

As long as you don't really care what model/trim/color you are getting then December may be good but if you have any preferences you may want to find it now and see if you can get them to waive/pay for some of your payments. The odds are that the remaining 2019 stock in December will not be plentiful.

Thanks for that. I thought it was either or. How long is the CIrcle A cert valid once issued?

There have been a few instances where dealers said they couldn't do lease cash with Circle A but that is not the way it should work. It seems like many will now mark up the MF but some have come down to base when the person was persistent.

I think originally they are good for a month or so but a new one can be generated when the old one expires.

Does anyone know how much budge room there is on buying a new G70 3.3 Sport in Canada (Calgary)? I’m also wondering if they discount accessories like floor mats and their regular price for tint/3M. I could pay cash if it was worth the incentive. Thanks in advance!

What is this auto show bonus you speak of...can it be stacked?

Sometimes around auto shows manufactures will offer incentives either regional or national. I think Genesis did this with the NY and a Florida show.

Yup, when I went to the NY auto show in April they had a stack of coupons for 1k off that expired in mid-June, so I wanted to get while the gettin' was good.

Too bad you couldn't combine the coupons, or I would have just grabbed the whole stack and happily gone to collect my complimentary Genesis.

I've never seen any coupons at either LA or San Francisco Auto Shows. Since NY show is in April, that's a good time for incentives (mid model year), compared to LA and SF in November, new model year cars just coming out, no incentives yet.

I just received an email back from a dealer in Michigan that they are offering M-Circle pricing on all Genesis models. A quick google search describes it as employee pricing. Unfortunately, I'm in Indiana and they can't give me the deal so I didn't push for exact numbers.

If you take M Circle pricing that means you give up all incentives including lease cash. It generally better to get a Circle A certificate and the incentives.

I've called a few dealers in San Francisco Bay Area and, so far, none are willing to sell at Circle A pricing. Has anyone had any luck with this in NorCal?

From what I've heard Genesis of Concord will sell at Circle A and they don't upcharge the lease MF.
