Service Manuals!?

Thank you thank you thank you! Now if I can just figure out from the manuals if I can just use a screwdriver to pop out the side mirror glass so I can replace the front cover, I'll be good!

I have downloaded these a few months back when I had access for my 2012 3.8 Genesis when I was going through problems with
my drivers seat with the dealer so I just put them on my google drive and hopefully they will last and not get blocked .
I have all the years shop manuals with the exception of the 2012 3.8 it also includes the DTM and ETC manuals as well.

Great work - Many thanks! However I'm noticing that the PDF manual set for the 2016 3.8 Coupe, that you've so kindly posted, are strange. Many of the photos show a Genesis sedan instead of the coupe, and the engine compartment photos (supposedly showing component locations) look very different from the GDI engine in my 2016 3.8 Base Coupe. I have to conclude that they knew they were discontinuing the coupe after 2016 so they never bothered to produce an actual 2016 3.8 Coupe manual. Also, whoever created the manuals, must have had Acrobat set on low resolution mode: you can't zoom into any photo for more detail; the images just pixelate into mush as you zoom.

My biggest need - and frustration with these manuals - is being unable to even accurately identify components in the engine compartment. For example, my GDI engine has a bright aluminum intake plenum (with many hoses and sensors connected to it) sitting on top of the engine, but there is no such thing in any of the 2016 PDF manuals as far as I can see, and therefore I can't even tell, for sure, what Hyundai officially calls this part or the items connected to it! I think the engine compartment pictures are actually the engine compartment of the Genesis sedan, not the Coupe, and unfortunately other photos show the 3.8 engine with the mystery plenum (or its very different sedan engine equivalent parts) already removed.

Also, PDF #1 (General Information) pages 2-4 attempt to explain how to decode your vehicle's VIN number. When I try to decode my 2016 3.8 Base Coupe's VIN using their VIN key table, however, four of my VIN's ten digit groups contain digits or numbers that have no equivalent in their table...another clue that these manuals are brain-damaged.

These manuals are certainly not something I'd be proud of, if I was Hyundai's Tech Publications Director.

Thanks for the PDF files. Looks like one needs to remove the trunk lid inner panel in order to remove the inner tail light assys. Instructions not real clear ... will try this manana and report back.

KeeWay I have tried to access the link on google drive to find service manual on my newly purchased 2013 Genesis 2.0t Premium coupe .
I am not familiar with google drive and have created an account but it tells me i am denied access to the file and i will be sent an e-mail if my request for sharing is approved , I have done numerous requests for access but to no avail. My Car Has a rod knock and would like /NEED info on the engine would also be a HUGE plus for the service manual on the car . Thanks for any help you can provide,

James, do you still have these manuals available? I have a 2011 Genesis that I'm in the process of replacing the engine, and am looking for several of the torque specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
