  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If you drive a Genesis and don't live near a dealer, can you comment on how the valet service works? I'm 90 miles from the nearest dealer.

I think there is a 50 mile limit for the valet service.

Can vay by dealer. Mine was 50 but in another post recently the dealer said 30.

I'm sure location matters. 50 miles can be 50 minutes but in NYC, Boston, or LA, 10 miles can be that much time.

The dealership I got mine from (Naples Florida) was well over an hour away, so when I had to get the first year service, I just made the appointment and drove there. The Genesis service guy asked me why I did not use the valet service and I told him I figured you would not come out that far. He looked at my address and side they could have worked something out. He did not say, but I think he might meet me 1/2 way and make a car switch. Next time I will try it, but hopefully it I will not have to bring my car in until the two year service, as mine has worked great since I purchased it.

Interesting. Maybe a Dallas dealer would meet me half way between here and there, about 50 miles.
