The U.S is in route to see a shortage of 642,000 technicians by 2024, if trends continue, according to a new study by TechForce Foundation. Not only is it an issue to get young people interested in the industry, but also to keep the ones that are new to the industry.

Many have complained about how long it takes to get an appointment for service. My local dealer is trying to do something about it.

Gettel... They would have had a customer for life, but they really pissed me off and I was done with them.

Does Gettle have a stand alone Genesis dealer in Sarasota? I drove by the Hyundai dealer in Sarasota a few months back and I did not see a Genesis sigh. They used to sell Genesis as well. I know they stopped selling Genesis at the Hyundai dealer in Port Charlotte a few years back.

Not a stand alone in either Sarasota or Bradenton. I've not been by the Bradenton place since May, but they are rebuilding the showroom but to what, I don't know.
I bought my G80 when I lived in CT but after I moved Gettel did the service and it has been good. Earlier this year, both my son and I bought cars from them.
