Should I buy Genesis?

Hello, I am new here. I'm looking for some opinions on the whole genesis experience, and also if possible on Genesis Canada.

I currently own a Subaru XV crosstrek which I have had for nearly four years from new. I spend a fair amount of time on the road and am looking to upgrade to a sporty luxury AWD sedan. I REALLY like the look of the new G70, and have registered my interest with Genesis for when it is released.

My questions/concerns are as follows:

• Will the car be optimised for the Canadian market - I have heard the Korean settings are a bit mushy...
• Are the G80 & 90 any good in the snow? I live in rural Quebec- we get a lot!
• How has the Genesis experience been for you? I am a bit concerned at the lack of a physical dealership...
• Leasing - has anyone done this? How has your experience been?
• Pricing - can you bargain? Do Genesis offer deals or sweeteners. I am used to haggling when buying a car
• Trade-ins - worth doing?

My possible alternatives are of course the Kia Stinger (less luxury though) or an Audi (although I do find them totally bland).

I don’t recommend Genesis. I get the “bsd canceled” message frequently. Happens when the car is clean and the weather is clear. Happens when the BSD button is turned on or when it is turned off. The only way to clear the alert is to turn off the car. The alert covers the entire dashboard screen and won’t go away. I took my 2015 Genesis to two different dealers. They both told me they can’t fix it because “they can’t recreate the issue and there are no error codes”. I contacted Hyundai customer care. After wasting hours of my life, they also said there is nothing they can (or are willing) to do. I know this is a known issue because it is all over the forums. It affects not only Genesis but all Hyundai vehicles with this piece of crap BSD feature. Buyer beware!!!
