  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Show off your wheels

It does look sharp, but have to admit, I am getting tired of seeing black wheels everywhere. That's just me.

That looks like a 22". I too was looking at 22, but more I see that size on different GVs, I am thinking there is just a tad too little rubber for my liking. That said, I know very well that the availability of 22" is much greater than 21", so may have to bite the bullet. There are some nice Avanti wheels, but its either 20 or 22". Sucks. 21" seems like the right proportion of tire to wheel for me. Again, just personal preference.
Hi

Hi,
I have oem 21 with tires but does not have tpms. Would you consider? About 500 miles on them.

I suspect you are in the US. I might be interested if you were local, in Canada, and price was right

Shipping will be too much.
Thanks

Love black wheels personally but I originally wanted 21s. So hard to find wheels you actually like and we won't even mention shopping for tires lol. I get your sentiment though. Having these 22s on them are like riding on air though. It has been pretty good so far.

I hear you. I have 5 months before my GV arrives and I have been looking anyway. You're absolutely right on the tires. Selection of 21" tires is much smaller, just like wheels in this size, and the price! Whoa! I think most 22" are less than the 21" tires . Ugh. Glad to hear that 22" are still a comfortable ride.

First world problems I guess! Regardless...the GV is a gorgeous vehicle all on its own. Enjoy your ride!!

I put Savini BM14 gloss black wheels to replace my factory Sport Prestige 21s. These are 21 x 9, but with +30 offset, instead of +43. I like the way it turned out.

Looks sharp! How do offsets work? The higher the number the further the tire would extend past the fender (wider)?

For positive offset (GV70 21 inch sport prestige are +43mm), by decreasing the offset...in my case to +30mm...you move the mounting face closer to center of wheel by 13 mm....which in turn makes the wheel stick out ~0.5 inches (13mm). Google has much more scientific explanations haha.

Thank you, makes sense, I had it reversed

Any shot these are still available? I am looking for a second set of wheels for my GV and I am local to you for meet/pick up.

Looks good. What size tires are you using?

Has anyone repainted their stock 21"s? My wife got curb rash on two of ours.... already... and I figure for the cost to repair I'd just get them repainted at the same time.

Damn that sucks. If you are going to paint, you should have them powder coated for durability. Huge range of colors you can choose from. Reg paint won't be nearly as durable. That means the wheels will need to be sandblasted first. You will have to get some prices in your area to see if it's worth it. If it's only the edge, there are YouTube videos on how to repair, with touch up paint and clear. All depends on how bad.

Finally had a decent day to wash the car and take pics (3.5 week new owner). 2.5T Prestige - Savile Silver with 255/45r20 Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires on Ruffino Teknik wheels.

They match your car so well. Can you share with us the cost of the rims?
