  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I love my fully loaded 2016 3.8 AWD Genesis Sedan...its new to me. Still low mileage considering (45K). I notice that when I first get in and drive the car shudders as if there are multiple small bumps in the road. Before I know it the drive is as smooth as it should be. Transmission or Engine?

probably the drive train propeller shaft.

I don't know why you guys all forget the flat-spotting problems that were so prevalent with many of the tires on this car. If the bumpiness is a steady rhythm that disappears after driving a fairly short time, that's almost certainly the problem.

I found an entire thread on this subject. Many have changed tires and that did not change a thing. Its in the design of the drive train. Ill search for it again as it was an up to date thread.

Here is the link to this tread I mentioned above.
