Side view mirror

Has anyone had the motor go out on their sideview mirror? My extended warranty covered the part but it does not come color matched to the car so I have to get it painted. The problem unlike all other Hyundai cars except the genesis is that no body or paint shop wants to touch it because it has to be taken apart shop and I can not be fully taken apart because of the power cord that runs from the mirror to the car cant be removed and if they break it they bought it! has anyone else experienced this?

yes my car has exact same problem motor went out on passenger side. i have 2015 3.8 awd model. Warranty expired because i have 74k miles on it but i have aftermarket warranty it covered me full 100% but have to pay for paint on my own which is $60 all repair is done by Hyundai dealer.

My passenger side view mirror clicks excessively when I double click with the key fob so I stop doing it and just use the button on the door handle to double unlock when necessary but it does still work when I go in reverse it tilts down on my 2012 3.8 tech package
