Silly question

Being 78 yrs old I find when having to walking behind my 2016 Genesis ultimate I’m not always quick enough to keep the self opening trunk from activating and having to push the button to close it again! Yeh I know walk around the front instead….not always possible!
so is there a way to deactivate this function if I feel its necessary?

There should be a setting for it. It's on the dash menu.
