Is there a way to display the song playing on a station when viewing the channel list? So when I’m scrolling the list of channels I just see what song is playing instead of having to click the station to find out what’s playing.

No. That would involve tuning to 200+ stations simultaneously.

Ok. Had the ability in my 2018 Volvo S90. Didn’t know if it was possible. I’d rather see the song playing vs the station. Either way, all good.

It’s a reasonable question…the XM car kit and home units do this.

Ahh. Well I don’t have that feature. I scrub channels using my jog wheel. I don’t have to move.

I can use the wheel as well. Should have mentioned it as maybe there are differences from model to model and year to year. It’s a ‘21 G90 3.3 model. Either way it still only shows the channel and not the song?

Yes in 2020 the model changed the tech and a light interior and exterior refresh. I've never thought about what song since I'm headed to a specific station.

While driving that would be quite a distraction flipping through a hundred channels looking for a song you like.
Not sure if all models have it, but Favorite Songs and Favorite Artist is a nice feature.

It really wasn’t bad having it in my last car. I will say the Volvo interface is much larger (vertical) so perhaps it made more sense? Where it was nice was when I would get to a genre that is similarly grouped together like 70’s,80’s, etc. I could see what song was playing across all of them and simply select whatever song I wanted vs flipping between stations which may end up being more of a distraction.

I guess my point was I’d rather see the song vs the station because I couldn’t care less what station is playing the song I might choose to listen to.
