  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

And I also have 20000 miles

Genesis (GEN1) seem to have that irritating wait to launch type of acceleration. You may need a pedal commander in which you can control it. I was thinking of investing in one but wondering how long can it last?
My opinion.

My 2015 5.0 Genesis used to have an weird delay in acceleration as well until I installed a Sprint Booster. However, even with the Sprint Booster my Genesis still have a slight delay until about 2000rpm; but the delay was worst without the Sprint Booster.

Hyundai seem to have programed a really delayed pedal response in the throttle-by-wire system to smooth out the ride quality since many Genesis owners probably do not want a twitchy gas pedal or neck breaking starts when they press the gas pedal to go.

Many modern luxury cars seem to have a delayed throttle response until the car is above an certain rpm that can be cured with a throttle booster module like Sprint Booster.
