  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So as I was walking to my car after work I notice something different about the front end of my car. Some bumped my car in the parking lot and scratch my bumper by the driver side of the grill, cracked the grilled at a few places. Not too bad but I'm still so pissed off, but it is life. My question/request is, can someone look at their car front grill to see if you can see the reinforcement bump foam pad? Look at the picture below. It looks like my have shifted up a little and if that is not normal then it must of been a bigger. I'm probably going to wait until spring to get it fixed but I just wanted to know if the foam showing is normal.
Thanks

I was looking at my front grill the other day and I too noticed the foam. I think it's normal to see it.

Ok thanks for the respond

this sucks, you can get the touch up paint and apply with turtle scratch wax may be that will help, and yes the form is visible, this is a very strong car nothing will happen with minor hit and run.

I have no foam showing on my car. Do you have any security cameras at your work that might have capture it on video? Inspect the car over to see if you can see any paint from the other car then next day at work walk the parking lot looking for the culprit (if by chance they are a coworker).

My bad. I thought he was talking about the white area at the base of that vertical support.

Yea today it warmed up enough to clean my baby and tried buffing her but not much difference. Well at least she got her windows tinted today.

I feel your pain. Someone dinged my door a couple of days ago, I think it happened at Wagman's in Sterling, VA. About 4-5 inch length, so someone must have pressed on while opening his/her car. It costed me $185 to fix (paintless dent repair that comes to your home). Such is life. You learn that some people are just not decent in life. But when you get a confirmation like this time to time, it just sucks. But dent repair was done perfectly!
