  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've gotten used to the feature where the key remembers your settings and changes things seat, wheel, radio, lighting, etc. Does anyone know if this is a feature of the 2015 Genesis Ultimate?

I searched the forum for this and couldn't exactly find the right details. I also checked the owners manual and found no mention of Smart Key profiles.

No - not available on the 2015.

No, the 2015 Ultimate does not have that option from the smart key. It remembers the last setting when the car was shut off. Otherwise, you have to press the "1" or "2" on the driver's door after you get in the car. Integrated Memory System adjusts the driver seat, outside mirrors, steering wheel and Heads-up Display to the specified settings of two drivers.

Or, you can press 1 or 2 on the door BEFORE you get into the car. At least mine works that way. I can live without a radio and mood lighting memory feature.

I'm accustomed to the fob being recognized as well. I can live with this option though, pressing 1 or 2 before entering. That will be like my old 2nd generation CTS.

I love the smart key functions on our BMW. It's my wife's car, but when i get in with my key, it's sorta like mine and I feel at home.

Yeah, That's where I'm coming from too. It's a small thing, but I think I'll miss it!
