SmartKey Battery change

Hoiw do I change the battery in my SmartKey. The message has appered few times telling me that the Smartkey battery is weak. I have found many video on how to change the battery on the 2014 and older but nothing on the 2015.

ANyone has done it yet?

I've had my key fob 3 months and it's already showing weak battery. I've tried opening it and ended up cracking the housing. The problem is, in trying to pry it open, you reach a point of no return where it either gives way or cracks. At least in my case that's what happened.

Shouldn't this be covered for the first year? I had one of the 2 key fobs on my 2012 go after 2 1/2 years, and the other was good after 3 years when I returned that leased Genny. I'd hope my 2015 should last longer than a few months!

You mean the key card style not the fob? There is small compartment at bottom of card that can be removed with flat head screw driver.
