  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I got a set of used wheels and winter tire setup from my brother in-law last week. I ordered some black lug nut and I'm re-plasti dipping. Well before I was able to installed them we got a pretty good snow storm (8" of snow) the other day in NE Ohio. With the OEM tires and Snow mode on I was able to glide through the snow with little problem. Which actually surprised me since I have a 3.8 RWD Ultimate. Hyundai Traction Control + Snow mode works really good, better than my 08 Altima. I just wanted to share my experience with potential buyers looking at either the HTrac or the RWD.

Good to know, hopefully the wider tires on the 5.0 don't make it too much worse.

Had some snow hit today and still running on the all seasons. With the 5.0 & HTRAC, had zero issues accelerating, handling and braking. Should be installing my winters this week and can only imagine what I can expect! The heated seats and steering wheel are icing on the cake! Love this car more every day!
