  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So When will the 4.6 V8's be in our dealerships?

Hey Everyone, I'm new to this forum. In '07, my hubby bought me a Honda S2000 (which we both love). He now wants a 4.6 Genesis. Anyone know when they will be available in the Upper Midwest area?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You know... Florida's nice this time of year- actually it's darn hot-but our dealers seem to have alot of '12 Genesis.
Fitzmall Clearwater shows 5 4.6's in stock. Fitz is the one you should base your buying price on. They are COMPETITIVE! The dealership that I bought my 3.8 from- Coconut Creek has 49 3.8's and 11 4.6's. They were willing to meet Fitz' price.:D

Yeah, I've been reading about the Fritz dealerships in the southeastern US. Maybe a nice three/four day weekend trip would be nice. He wants to trade in our 2007 Honda Accord.

Internet's nice! All communication with both dealers was through my computer. Trade in value was good and done sight unseen.

i too am puzzled by the order in which the 4.6 is showing up.
if the car is made in korea, you would think that it crosses the pacific ocean and lands in the west coast first. so why are the first ones in florida and georgia???

i'm right here in california!

West coast is in need of some Genesis love.. If you go to cars.com and look at "ALL" of the Genesis they are all on the east coast. ARGGHH.. Im ready to trade now... Although I did get a call from a local dealer saying they will be getting a R-Spec in next week, but Im not to sure about the ride comfort on the R-Spec. Still want to drive a 4.6 before I really buy unless this has a good ride then Im done... :D

Can make it a shorter trip.

Instead of Fitzmall, FL, you can just head to Fitzmall, MD - they have a no. of 2012 4.6s in stock w/ a good bit more on the way.

Take a day or 2 to visit the nation's capitol and/or Annapolis.

Yeah, still thinking about it. Would be a nice drive. We will see.

Ah, come on- we have Disney, Universal, St. Augustine, the Keys The ton of Genesis' that we have down here is just the icing on the cake(LOL)!

Still thinking about it. Watching cars.com to see which dealerships here in SE Wisconsin have the 4.6's. He's at the EAA Show in Oshkosh this weekend, so it will at least be next week or the following before we get serious about this. Hopefully more midwest dealerships will have the 4.6's by then.

So does anyone have a clue why the west coast has no 2012 V8's by now? It seems very strange that all my local dealers dont have any and all most of the east coast dealers are flooded with v8's. Any HMA reps out here?

Im ready to trade :) !!!

I just searched cars.com and came up with ONE 4.6 2012 in Glendora, CA within 500 miles of California.
Also within 500 miles, there are 285 vehicles of 3.8 2012. Something is really wrong here.

yeah!! I see it too. Well at least theres one on the west coast to pick? :)

there's 1 in Irvine also - tuttle click hyundai.

I now see one twilight blue 2012 v8 in Linden Utah. Hopefully we should be seeing them next week.

So I'm going thru cars.com and I see a huge difference in pricing among the 2012 v8's. I thought all the v8's come loaded with tech packages. If so then why such a big range from 38k to 49k?
