  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It's pretty well established (even if not particularly well known) that as a brand, Genesis has a significantly higher ATP than any of the Japanese lux brands, including Lexus (despite not having any higher priced BoF SUVs).

But not only does the GV80 have an ATP (way) higher than the RX, the GV70'S ATP is higher as well.

The RX's ATP, however, is on line w/ another FWD based CUV, the Nautilus.

ATP (3Q 2022)

G70 - $49k
GV70 - $57.5k
G80 -$59.1k
GV80 - $71.8k
G90 - $97.8k

NX - $50.6k
ES - $49.9k
RX - $56.9k

Corsair - $47.4k
Nautilus - $56.8k
Aviator - $71.4k

CT4 - $53.8k
XT4 - $45.8k
XT5 - $55.5k
CT5 - $60.5k
XT6 - $60.9k
Lyriq - $60k

Enclave - $53.6k

Palisade $50.4k
EV6 - $57.3k

The Palisades ATP (about $4k higher than the Highlander's) is on par or better than compact lux entries like the NX and Corsair, w/ the top trim being compare to the likes of the RX and XT5.

The EV6's ATP is surprisingly close to that of the Lyriq.

So, while the wider (uninformed) public may not see the relatively new/upstart Genesis as being as "prestigious" as say, Lexus - the market/buyers say otherwise w/ Genesis models for the most part having considerably higher ATPs than their Lexus counterparts.

No body is taking in the problems dealing with the service departments. That and the lack of Genesis dealers.

Wait, do you mean that Hyundai/GMA retailers don't provide the same customer service as Lexus? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

And that's despite the GV70 not having a pricier hybrid.

The ATP fir the new RX should rise, but so should the GV70'S w/ the addition of the EV variant and hopefully, a performance ICE variant.

While not ideal, just shows that the actual product is more important when it comes to commanding higher prices.

Not surprisingly, the FWD/transverse models are within a ballpark of each other with regards to price, with the RWD models being considerably higher.
