  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Found the quoted article below in today's Waukesha Freeman, a suburb on the west side of Milwaukee.

The commission will also
consider Waukesha Genesis’
final site plan and
architectural review to
approve plans for a new car
dealership at 1503 E. Moreland
Blvd. It is currently
the site of the Boucher You
Drive It Now Dealership.
The applicant plans to
demolish the existing
building and replace it with
a new Hyundai Genesis
dealership.
The new building will
have an area of 20,000
square feet, roughly five
times as large as the existing
building. The parking
lot will be reconfigured into
a rectangular shape. Parking
lot entrances, from
Manhattan Drive on the
west side and to the adjacent
Hyundai dealership to
the east, will be unchanged
from the existing property.
Vehicle display will be limited
to the front sections of
the lot. Service storage and
employee parking will be
behind the building.

Someone posted on one of the genesis forums that they were building one in Fort Myers, FL and I just hear an advertisement on TV for it so I guess it is open. It is closer to me than the place I got mine but still a 45 minute drive.

So it’s not really a standalone Genesis dealership?

You take the article writers interpetation over mine? It is going to replace an existing building (the You Drive it Now building on the map), but I doubt they would demolish the existing Hyundai Dealership building to the east. hyundai dealership in waukesha wi - Google Maps.webp hyundai dealership in waukesha wi - Google Maps.webpan Auto Dealers street here with most major brands included within about a mile each way.

Hey, if you read it in the paper or see it online, it just has to be true.😎

From the article. It sounds like there will be two separate facilities.

This particular Hyundai dealer has been in the location show on the map I posted above, for many years. They have also been promising me that a new Genesis dealership is being planned/built, so the article in the local newspaper simply confirmed what they've been telling me for a couple of years. I've loved driving the various Genesis models over the years, but refused to really consider buying one due to the dealer's lack of commitment/support for the brand.

I'm seriously reconsidering the Genesis brand, now that they are making a significant commitment to the brand, locally,

Making small talk with one of their service writers during my last GV70 service and talked about coming to a dumpy old Hyundai building (no denying) for service and he said Genesis was making Frank get the new separate building up by 2024.
