  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got my new G70 Sport a week ago and I have two issues.

1) There appears to be no difference in the engine / exhaust when the settings for that are changed or turned off , is there something else that needs to turned on or adjusted in the audio system ?

2) Also having trouble activating the volume increase of the audio system with car speed, there is no change in the volume that I can detect ??

Other than those minor gripes , I am realy plasesd with the way it drives and looks.

I also have experienced little to no Engine/Exhaust sound difference. Interested to hear what others are experiencing.

Agree with the above. Found the active engine noise to be subtle at best. They did a great job making it sound real and natural.

As for speed based music volume I can hear the difference sometimes. If I'm on a quieter road and accelerate I'll notice that the music gets louder, but again it's subtle (my Infiniti behaved about the same).

I have been playing with the speed based volume control as well and I am not able to tell a difference, however I am in Apple CarPlay mostly. I am wondering if it will behave differently based on input. Also there is the ability to adjust various input volume minimums such as guidance, notifications etc through the advance settings. Curios if we up the minimum base volume of music if it will adjust differently.

Good point, I'm not sure if I've noticed speed based volume in Android Auto. The advanced audio options might not apply either. I loved the ClariFi and sound stage (I forget the name) effects on XM radio but don't think I've noticed it on Android Auto/Spotify. Will need to play around more.

If you have the Enhancement on, there is a setting, you will hear more sound in Sport mode than in Eco or Comfort.
