Soundproofing (Or Dampening/Absorbing/Blocking)

Rear Floor (Removing the floor carpet is a bit harder than in the front as it goes up to the rear seats, but this covers the main areas with less work if you don't want to spend too much time on this)

 
Front Carpet / Seat Removal / Stock and New Soundproofing
(Hyundai did a good job overall with a decoupling layer and MLV, but focused mainly around the middle area above the exhaust and the firewall so the floor was the weakest link)
- I don't have pics of the Pedal removal process but it's one or two screws and then you can pull it up and unplug it.

Hyundai did a great job, I just wish they put that custom shaped and cut foam and MLV over every inch of the car. :P

I checked out the latest Genesis and its trunk bottom is also uncovered apart from some vibration dampening material. I feel like manufacturers either want people to hear more exhaust noise or just got used to saving money in that area, but I feel like it's the easiest place to cut down on noise on a luxury car.
 
Ned to figure out how to get rid of the headliner squeak. Haven't dropped it to see what type of foam and where it should go. Anyone done this yet?

This really is a fantastic thread!! I concur about the 2nd generation's minimum amount of sound-deadening in the trunk. I know that would make a bit of difference, but I feel like my Genesis is the loudest on roads that have some kind of textured pavement, ie road noise. I wish they'd put something there.
