  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Run flat tyres dont run more than 15-20 miles in my experience. if you drive more than that you will brake the wheel drum. Also when you are driving on Hwy to other city after 700pm, or on a Sunday That is when most of us go long distance, where will you go to change the tyre. Who ever made this decision are stupid people, I can not understand how did the US Auto safety control aproved it.

You can complain about it, or you can do something about it.

Our G70 didn't come with a donut spare, so I bought one from ebay off a salvaged G80. Stinger, G70 and G80 all use the same 18x4 spare wheel/tire. Technically, even the G90's 19x4 would fit too. I actually bought a tool kit and foam holder from a G90 and had to trim the foam holder to fit inside the 18x4 spare's well. If you get the whole kit and caboodle from either Stinger, G70 or G80, they drop right in without mods.

I also bought a mounting bracket and hold-down "nut" from an online Kia Stinger OEM microfiche catalog. They share the same rear bodyworks. Everything fitted perfectly.

Last two times I had a tire problem, no kit patch would work. They do this to save weight for EPA mileage regulations. Best to pick up a donut and be confident when you are out. Agree, it should be in there.
