  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So my wife and I take the G70 out for breakfast this morning, with the music on, and I noticed that sound was only coming out of the right rear (for the radio as well as my USB stick). I checked the audio settings, in case the car had somehow changed them, but all the settings were correct, with the balance in the center. It stayed like that all the way to breakfast (about a 20 minute drive). I also turned the volume way up, to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I resigned myself to having to make an appointment with the dealer to get it fixed. Then we came out after eating, and on the drive home the speakers were all working fine again! Hopefully just a loose connector somewhere. Ugh. I'll have to mention it to the service guy when I take it in for the next service (it just turned 12k miles).
Anyone else have a similar experience?

I've not heard of the speakers but, there have been a lot of reports that my XXXYYY did not work. I restarted the car and it was fine after that. Seems that many times a reboot is the cure for technology problems.

I'm curious if you had reset the radio, without powering off the car - if it had made a difference.

Yes, mine has done that with one of the old firmware versions. Mine was more like stuck on another priority.

I've never had that on v13.5. Are you running the latest firmware?
