  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Split-Screen Hell - Carplay and Media screens can't disable.

Same thing in my G70. Prior to the update I could eliminate the stuff screen and Carplay was full screen. Now post update, Im unable to get rid of the side screen and go full screen with Carplay. That is disappointing and by I hope you bring the full screen option back.

I hope this gets updated soon! Prior to this software update I was able to swipe the split screen to the right so that CarPlay was full screen. Now, post update, this is no longer an option and the split screen is forced while using CarPlay. Doesn’t make sense.

I got 'some' update yesterday, noticing small details that have changed.. notably the split screen thing everyone is talking about. I do have the option to turn that off (which works), but I don't think I'm on the same OS that everyone else might be on.. I still have the radio tubes..

The option was in a strange spot IMO.. Device Connections/Phone Projection Settings/Apple Carplay/ Uncheck 'use split screen...'
