There is some speculation that the 2010 Genesis will come with Standard Integrated Bluetooth. This is a step up from what is currently installed in the 2009. I'm not a Bluetooth expert but my guess is that this will allow Bluetooth-enabled audio devices to connect to the Stereo wirelessly. This has me pretty excited because I use a Blackberry for Pandora and Slacker and this should allow me to pipe the music through to the stereo without having to connect an AUX cable each time I can get in the car or disconnect it when I leave.
My question is can anyone confirm another vehicle that they have tried this in? The reason I ask is I'm wondering about sound quality. Is it degraded compared to the AUX Line in? If it is, is it likely to be significantly degraded and this might not be an option at all. The music coming through Pandora and Slacker are already far from CD quality and I'm wondering if this is another link in the chain that will make it signifcantly worse or is pretty much a wash.
