After the car sat outside on a 100 degree day, the key fob won’t unlock the doors or start the car when the start button is pressed. If the fob (either of 2 fobs) is inserted in the dash slot, the car starts normally except the radio video monitor is blank and all the instruments and display by the speedometer appear to have been restarted, the radio doesn’t work, and the rear window sun screen goes up when I shift into Drive as if the power just got restored.
Both fobs have new batteries and have been tested that they still put out an RF signal. The dealer techs don’t know is wrong and just want to start replacing parts because they haven’t been able find anything with tests. I can drive the car except the TPMS light stay solidly lit and the radio monitor is blank (AC works OK except I can’t see setting).
