  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am seeing the little steering wheel symbol in my heads-up display and in the dash, no codes logged

Could it be that lane keep assist is turned on?

It sounds like what Hyundai calls "Highway Driving Assist". It keeps the car centered in the lane, kind of more restrictive lane keeping. I don't like either one, actually. It can be turned off, at least on my 2019 SP 3.3T and all Hyundais.

Stop driving. That symbol means your power steering is failing. The wheel will become very hard to turn. Get it checked immediately.

This is very wrong!
A steering wheel symbol in orange with an explanation point next to it on the instrument cluster could mean that. However, he says this in on the HUD. When the steering wheel symbol appears on the HUD, it means that one form or another of lane keeping steering assist is active.

Post a picture and someone will know what you are talking about.

It means the lane centering option is on. Can be shut off from a button on the steering wheel
