Stereo Not Working

Sorry if this comes out weird English isn't my first language I bought a 2015 genesis a week ago and a day later while I had the audio turned up it stopped working I checked the amp and all the fuses and I feel it heating up so that must mean it gets power. aswell whenever I turn the car on I get a loud almost zipper noise then after that silence. I'm not sure what this means any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not entirely 100% but it sounds like a wiring or speaker problem.

Are other functions working like navigation and back up camera? What screen size, 8" or 9.2"?

Yes everything else works it appears except the speakers and it's the 9.2

Sounds like they are hitting some type of surge protection and going into protect mode. I would check the wiring for a short.

If you don't feel comfortable testing all the wiring, I'd recommend a mechanic. I'd also check all of the grounds in the car. If something has separated or corroded, that'll need replacement.
