  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Unfortunately spilled a little bit of soda on the buttons surrounding the DIS knob. All the buttons function fine but some of them don't move as freely as they did before. Basically its hard to push them down and they return back up pretty slow.

Any way to clean underneath there without pulling apart the console?

Do you think compressed air could work?

Do you think compressed air could work?

It worked in my case but on a different car. First, I sprayed it with windex, waited approx. 15 sec. then I used compressed air.
Not sure if its safe to use this "technique" on DIS knob.

Thanks for reminding me! I just went outside and sprayed my sticking seat heater button with WD-40. All done! Which buttons were you referring to?
