  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody have a problem with their sunroof sticki while it closes. Any suggestions

Anything with rubber seals - windows, doors, or the sunroof - benefits from an occasional lubrication with silicon spray. I spray a bit into a clean cloth and then wipe down the rubber surfaces... trying to spray surfaces directly just gets silicon everywhere. And it smells funny for a while. Roll the windows down, open the sunroof, open the doors, etc. and wipe down the rubber parts. Silicon spray is available at pretty much any auto parts store. It also works well as a lubricant for some hinges, for windows in your house, etc. Don't use it on locks though; use the small tubes of dry graphite lubricant for locks. Squeeze the tube and blast some graphite powder into the lock, then insert the key and rotate it back and forth a few times. Wipe the key off before you put it back in your pocket though! This really helps folks that deal with winters.
